I’d like to share an awesome 30 minute stairmaster workout that I always turn to when I want to get sweaty in the gym. It’s a great combination with keto and I can honestly say it is one of the best workouts you will get in a short time. It is perfect if you are in a rush in the morning, you’d like to work out during your lunch break or at the end of a long day.
When I say awesome, I mean sweaty, heavy breathing and happy hot mess. It’s a 30 minute stair-master workout that will leave you feeling great and that will also ensure you burn calories long after you finish the workout. HIIT workouts are great like that. This 30 minute StairMaster workout is great because you work out your calves, glutes, hamstrings and quadriceps. Always make sure you have the right shoes.
Benefits of the StairMaster
The stairmaster offers great benefits especially when you don’t have time to be in the gym to workout for hours. It’s an effective cardio workout and it is great for strength training as well.
- One of the biggest benefits is toning and sculpting the body because you end up working so many muscle groups within a short period of time. As mentioned above you get to work out the calves, glutes, hamstrings and quadriceps within 30 minutes on one machine!
- The stairmaster is great for aerobic conditioning. Your heart rate will go up pretty fast which strengthens the heart and the lungs.
- The stairmaster burns fat really well and it’s great for burning calories as well. You could burn potentially 300 calories within 30 minutes with this workout.
- When using the stairmaster in the correct posture it is important to keep your balance or you could injure yourself. This provides a great core workout which in turn strengthens the core.
- The stairmaster increases bone strength. As you go up the stairs continuously you end up putting weight on the bones. This provides movement that is essential and which reduces the risk for osteoporosis.
- The stairmaster is a great alternative to running if you have knee problems. It reduces stress on the joint because it is a low-impact exercise compared to running.
Please note that I had posted this workout on another blog I worked on so if it seems similar that’s why. No plagiarism here : ).
Anyways try this workout and let me know if you feel the burrrrn!!!. This workout was inspired by Tone It Up but I modified it to suit myself. Always listen to your body and do what is right for you. Consult a doctor before starting something new. This workout is great for me and it’s a recommendation that you try it.
If you missed it see how I adopted keto.
