If you know me then you know that I am always trying to find a bargain. I love traveling especially to countries where I get more for my money. There are some countries like Iceland, Jordan and Switzerland that are extremely expensive to travel to. I am frugal by nature and I like to make my money go as far as it can. The daily budget in this list of the cheapest countries to travel to in Asia is under $50 per day.
When I prepare a travel budget I think about food, accommodation, transport and sightseeing. Basically how much will it cost to have a good time once I arrive in the country. This does not include flights because that’s normally the biggest travel expense. I try not to stay in hostels when I travel just because I think I have outgrown them and I love my comfort. Hostels are great but when you get to a certain age you prefer to pay a little more for a nice hotel room.
With this in mind I prefer to travel in the low or shoulder season. Prices tend to hike up during the busy season so it’s always a good idea to travel when there are lesser crowds. You also get really nice hotels at bargain rates when you travel in the off season. Tours and parks also change pricing sometimes depending on the season.
